Tsura - a Romani Gypsy name meaning "light of dawn" - is the debut jewellery label by designer Tara Thadani. Formally trained as an artist in the UK, Tara uses her understanding of colour, aesthetics and form to create wearable pieces of art. The idea behind Tsura is to create conversation pieces of jewellery; pieces you are comfortable wearing with nothing else and feel completely dressed up.
Her designs are both light and dark, heavy and delicate – using semi-precious gems and unusual materials like fossilized stones, woods, shells and coral –they reflect all corners of the globe. Fusing this eclectic mix of materials with refined craftsmanship Tsura makes unique and exotic pieces to be worn everyday. It is jewellery made by a collector and devotee of rare and distinctive pieces of jewellery.
